Failures say why, and the harvest counts

When something goes wrong your AI is now told what went wrong, in a sentence you can quote back. A harvest is a real dated event with a quantity, so what a tree gave you is answerable year over year, and a note dictated before the right kind existed can be typed into one without losing a word of it.

  • A harvest is a dated event with a number, so what a tree gave you is answerable year over year.
  • "When did this start last year?" is one call.
Nothing else this time
  • A photo your assistant reserved from a chat now shows up on Photos-to-attach.
Nothing else this time
  • When something fails, your AI can tell you what failed instead of guessing.
  • A note you dictated can become a typed event, and three sentences about one pruning can become one.
  • A refusal from Plants cannot be mistaken for your chat app's own error.

The AI can read the garden back

Every read now says its whole answer where a chat assistant can actually see it, a plant moves instead of being renamed, how often and how much to water it is written down, and one call reads a whole area of the garden.

  • Standing in front of seven pots, your AI can read the whole area in one call.
  • How often and how much to water a plant is written down instead of worked out again every time.
  • Repotting, pruning and losing a plant are real dated events, and one wrong field can be corrected on its own.
  • A question you could not answer yet comes back instead of ending with the conversation.
Nothing else this time
  • The first call from a phone is forgiving: the page marker is printed, refusals name the switch, and a job starts in one call.
Nothing else this time
  • Ask your AI what is going on with a plant and it can now actually see the answer.
  • A plant that moves is moved, and keeps the name you gave it.
Nothing else this time

Capability truth

Where this actually stands

Everything listed here is in the product now. Each line says what you can rely on today and what kind of evidence we have for it — a thing you can do is not the same claim as a thing we have watched somebody finish.

Keeping records yourself

Plants, species, dated entries, photos, measurements, properties, products, tools, research and the queue. All of it works without any assistant involved, and that is a permanent stance rather than a stage we are passing through.

works today

Handing your AI a bounded package by hand

Copy the brief, paste it to whichever assistant you use, bring the result back for review before it is saved. This is the path people have actually completed, and it is supported permanently — not as a stopgap for the impatient.

Exporting or deleting everything you have kept

Whole, whenever you like, from Settings → Privacy & export.

The connector at /mcp

It is deployed and refuses every caller without an approved credential. One real account-level connection has completed sign-in and loaded the authenticated 30-tool catalogue. Earlier in the same production investigation it also made bounded reads. What is not proved is the whole lifecycle: private media, a marked saved result, revoke, reconnect and cleanup have not all been completed together. Verified MCP sign-in proves identity; Plants separately issues the ordinary-care grant for normal private garden reads and writes, permitted media and location, reported human-state context, and attributed results. Archive/Restore and any authority change still require you. Your AI client may also keep its own per-tool prompts. People who prefer a second Plants confirmation can turn on approval-first for new connections in Your AI settings.

Per-assistant abilities

The seven switches, the tier reading, revocation and the activity log are built and tested. The ordinary-care default includes journal writing and permitted location context. Archive/Restore and every authority change still need your action; an assistant can ask and cannot apply the change itself. A client can independently prompt for or block individual tools. The new default and revoke still lack one complete live client lifecycle receipt.

Everything you keep here is private to you

Your records have no sharing surface and no public address: no links to hand out, no invited accounts, no public shelf to publish a prompt to. The Library's second column is a starter set that ships with the product, and there is no control anywhere for offering your own writing to anybody else.

Nothing here acts in the physical world

This product writes records and it stops there. It does not buy, message anyone, book external care, treat a plant, or drive a device or an irrigation controller — not for you, and not for an assistant that asks it to.

Advice is not a decision, and a decision is not a thing done. This site keeps the three apart and never claims it advised, diagnosed, watered or decided anything.

Every Assist With space keeps its release notes in this same shape, so you never have to learn a new one.

Elsewhere in the family

Same idea, other subjects. Your AI connects to each one separately.
